Tucked away in a heavy wooded property lies a home and ancillary barn perched on the highest point overlooking a valley and intermittent stream.  This home was conceived as several vernacular buildings with glass breezeways between to scale down the mass and provide a specific program for each volume.   The house was additionally pushed into a hillside allowing for a single-story landscaped courtyard on one side and a two story wing to buffer the entry sequence and to provide views for the bedrooms above.
