Shielded from the break at Chatham light and with views to North Beach Island, this coastal location provides all one needs for a respite during a summer getaway. this new contemporary summer house finds its roots amongst the adjacent cottage like homes from the 1930's. With a nod to nautical influences and a diminutive scale of its own, this house is lifted out of the floodplain per F.E.M.A. requirements. On pilotis for structure, and emulating beach stutters as an exterior skin, the house echoes of a  whimsical coast architecture.
