We envisioned this pool house as an open pavilion, with large doors on both sides that not only welcome you in but also frame views through the structure to the landscape beyond. This openness gives the building a light, airy quality. Aligned on axis with the main house but set at a lower elevation, the pool house serves as a bookend—anchoring the composition without obstructing views or diminishing the sense of a spacious yard. The pool itself was placed to the side, ensuring that during the shoulder seasons, when it's covered, it doesn’t dominate or detract from the overall view.
