Favor the faucet

Be it a bathroom remodel or completely new house, the selection of plumbing fixtures typically is in the mix. At Jacob Lilley Architects there tends to be one that rises above all else in importance, the kitchen faucet. Why? Well it has to do with both functionality and location. With regards to utility it is the most used fixture in the house and its location in the kitchen ensures that the people living there, or guest will be looking at it. With some much attention it only makes sense that you invest in one of quality and esthetic value. We often tell our clients to spend twice as much on this fixture as you would any other. You touch it and use often, therefore quality of construction is tantamount. With some many plastic parts in product today feeling a faucet made of metal just seems right in the hand.
