There are wonderful pockets of land that reside between rural and suburban life. This house on the edge of the Charles River finds itself in that location. Part of nature, but close to civilization.  As a full home renovation and addition, the design concept was to create a glasses terrace along the back of the house and support it with an integrated landscape. This allows the program alomng the back to be fully functional yet immersed into the outdoors.
