Jake Lilley AIA Principal Architect Originally from England, Jake founded JACOB LILLEY ARCHITECTS after 6 years as a Principal at Lilley-Dadagian Architects, and before then as a Project Director for the nationally recognized Architecture, Planning and Landscape firm of Wallace Roberts and Todd in Philadelphia. Prior to Wallace Roberts and Todd, Jake worked at GUND Partnership in Cambridge, Massachusetts for six years as a Senior Designer with the Independent School Studio, and as a designer for the office of Hoffman O'Brien Look Taube & Chiang in Ithaca, New York. Jake received his Bachelor of Architecture from Cornell University, and currently is a Board Member on the Wellesley Historical Commission. Lloyd Taft Project Architect Lloyd Taft has had a long and successful career in architecture. A graduate of Hampshire College in Amherst Ma., Lloyd received his Masters degree from The Yale School of Architecture. Having had his own firm in New York and Connecticut for 30 years Lloyd recently relocated to the Boston area in order to be close to his daughter and first grandchild. Lloyd has specialized in high end residential design, workign in a variety of locations across the continent. A love of rustic and traditional American architecture has Lloyd feeling at home in the Massachusetts tradition, and the thrill of combining that with the crisp modernism that thrives in the area fulfills a lifelong dream of his. Kristen Lawler Senior Designer Kristen has over 15 years’ experience in a wide medley of architectural project types, including biotechnology labs, educational facilities and multifamily housing. Focusing on her passion for residential design at JLA, Kristen appreciates the emphasis of really listening to the client’s ideas and wishes and the challenge of translating them into built spaces that enrich their lives. She also believes the coordinated collaboration between client, architect and builder makes for the most innovative, cost-effective and successful projects. Having experienced architecture of various parts of the world and admiring how building materials and methods transform, Kristen still enjoys the New England vernacular as one of the most classically simple and sophisticated design responses to climate, culture and client needs. Kristen holds a Bachelor degree in Art History, graduating magna cum laude, from Boston College, and a Master of Architecture from Rhode Island School of Design, where she also participated in the Rome Studies Program. Kristin Oliveri Office Manager – Accounting A local Shrewsbury resident and 1990 graduate of University of Massachusetts Amherst, Kristin’s has developed a broad view of the architectural industry as the office manager for a large construction company. At JLA Kristen brings not only years of accounting experience, but a skilled eye in assisting in our marketing efforts and research. Kristen has developed a love for old buildings and urban spaces, and when not being immersed in all things building related likes to coach girls basketball, cooking, and gardening.
