Bjorn Slate

Senior Designer

Bjorn has over 25 years of experience designing and managing the construction of super-custom homes throughout New England and the Hudson Valley.  As a New York licensed architect, Bjorn had his own firm in Westchester County and worked with other award-winning firms in the area, as well as with a world-class builder based in New York City before returning to his roots in the Boston area.  Bjorn brings his keen Scandinavian-inflected design sensibility and proven management skills to each of the projects he's involved with, always striving for complete client satisfaction.  Bjorn holds an undergraduate degree from Columbia and Master’s from MIT, both in architecture.  He enjoys restoring his early 1700's farmhouse in Lincoln and is an avid gardener and painter - working primarily in watercolors and gouache.
